A Woman After God’s Own Heart
Called by many titles, but above all, Ashley J. Lauren is a woman after God’s own heart, a mother of two, and a Kingdom builder whose journey has been marked by perseverance, transformation, surrender, and unwavering faith.
Born and raised in the inner city of Chicago, Illinois, Ashley’s testimony is rooted in a journey of overcoming rejection, abandonment, and the patterns those experiences produced in her life. For many years, she learned to fight her battles naturally—becoming hardened, defensive, and at times using her hands to fight.
Eventually, Ashley realized that while she may have been winning natural battles, she was losing spiritual ones.
That realization began a deeper journey of self-examination, healing, and discovering her identity in God. As Ashley surrendered the places of brokenness and allowed God to reveal the roots behind her patterns, she began to experience transformation through Jesus Christ.
It was in that place of brokenness, surrender, and revelation that Wisdom Women Sisterhood was birthed.

Her Calling to Women
Before Wisdom Women Sisterhood, Ashley was a hairstylist who discovered that her chair could be more than a place of beauty—it could be a sacred space. While beautifying women outwardly, she also ministered to their hearts through encouragement, prayer, wisdom, and prophetic insight. What began in the salon became a glimpse of a greater calling: helping women encounter God, understand their identity, and grow spiritually. Today, Ashley is answering God’s call to step fully into her purpose and serve women on a greater scale. As an entrepreneur, author, prophetess, and spiritual midwife, Ashley is passionate about helping women birth healing, wisdom, spiritual maturity, and purpose through Jesus Christ.
Her Heart for Women
Ashley believes no woman’s story is wasted. She desires to see women move beyond the identities, wounds, and patterns that have held them back and discover who God created them to be. Her heart is to cultivate a safe, Christ-centered environment where women can surrender, grow, receive wisdom, serve others, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose. Through Wisdom Women Sisterhood, Ashley is building what she believes God placed on her heart: a generation of women who walk in wisdom, honor God with their lives, and help other women do the same.”

Wisdom Women Sisterhood was birthed from my own journey of surrender, healing, and discovering my identity in Christ. My desire is to create a space where women can grow in God, walk in wisdom, and discover that their story can be used for His glory.”
